Join us for a "Blood on the Clocktower!" game night hosted by Story Teller Geoff! Don’t know anything about one of the most popular large group games at board game conventions? Here’s a brief rundown (we will have a rundown of the rules before each session).

"Blood on the Clocktower" is a social deduction game (like "Werewolf" or “Mafia”) where two teams compete to win. The Storyteller (the “DM” in this game) will give each person a script of potential characters in play, each with a unique power or capability. Each player will then randomly draw a chip from a bag that displays their role, and they’ll discover if they play for the forces of good or evil. The good team consists of the townsfolk who need to deduce who the demon is and execute them to win. The demon, with the aid of evil minions, win the game if the demon still lives when only two players remain alive. Players will quickly find they cannot trust anyone…even themselves!

This game eliminates the problems of many other social deduction games. For instance, the game does not end for dead players. In fact, some players will hope to get killed since they’ll receive vital information from the storyteller if they get killed during a certain phase of the game, The dead can still freely communicate with other players, and even have one final vote to cast anytime in the game to render their judgement from the grave!
